Itinerary
• Meet and greet on arrival and proceed to the beautiful hill capital of Kandy. En route, you may visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. In Kandy, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, enjoy the Kandy View Point, and explore a Gem Museum and traditional Batik and wood-carving centers. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Kandyan Cultural Dance Show. (Seasonal) • Overnight stay in Kandy.
• After breakfast, travel through the scenic central highlands towards Nuwara Eliya. Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya before continuing through tea-covered mountains and waterfalls. Stop at a tea plantation and factory to learn about Ceylon tea production. On arrival, explore Nuwara Eliya, including Gregory Lake, Victoria Park, the colonial-era Post Office and the town center. • Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya
• After breakfast, transfer to the railway station and enjoy one of Sri Lanka's most beautiful train journeys through misty mountains, tea estates and picturesque valleys to Ella. Upon arrival, visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Ella. • Overnight stay in Ella.
• Start the day with a visit to Little Adam's Peak for beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Continue to Ravana Falls and spend some time exploring Ella town. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and enjoy the cool hill-country surroundings. • Overnight stay in Ella
• After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your journey back to Colombo or Bandaranaike International Airport. Enjoy the changing scenery as you travel from Sri Lanka's central highlands towards the western coast, bringing your memorable hill-country holiday to an end.
