This 7-day journey combines Sri Lanka’s scenic hill country, tea plantations, misty mountains, wildlife, and beautiful southern coastline. The route travels from the airport through Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Ella, followed by a thrilling Yala safari, relaxing beach time in Mirissa, and a visit to historic Galle before returning to the airport. This combination is well suited to a short trip covering both the highlands and southern coast.
Itinerary
• Meet and greet at Bandaranaike International Airport and proceed to Kandy. En route, enjoy the beautiful countryside before arriving in Sri Lanka’s cultural hill capital. Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and enjoy a panoramic view of Kandy. • Overnight Stay: Kandy
• After breakfast, proceed to Nuwara Eliya through the scenic Hill Country. En route, visit Ramboda Waterfall, a tea plantation and tea factory. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya and explore Gregory Lake and the charming colonial-style town. • Overnight Stay: Nuwara Eliya
• After breakfast, experience a beautiful journey through Sri Lanka’s tea country to Ella. Enjoy spectacular views of misty mountains, tea estates and waterfalls. In Ella, visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge and enjoy the relaxed mountain atmosphere. • Overnight Stay: Ella
• Start the morning with a visit to Little Adam’s Peak, followed by Ravana Falls. • After breakfast, leave the wilderness behind and travel towards Sri Lanka’s beautiful southern coastline. Arrive in Mirissa and spend the afternoon relaxing on the golden sandy beach and enjoying the tropical surroundings. • Overnight Stay: Mirissa
